Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)  (Outline Only, Body to Follow)

I discussed the need for Safety Equipment for the road, but you need to be protected as well.

Ask yourself

• What are the venue requirements for PPE
  • Fire suit, helmet, etc
• Have I read the spec on the fire suit.
  • How many times can I wash it before the fire resistance rating is compromised
• How long can I continue to wear my helmet before it needs replacing.
  • Check the CSA standards or ask the race organizers
  • You will need to replace it, it you were in an incident.
