TEAM MOORE RACING (current owner-2011)

Steve Moore, of Team Moore Racing, provided a little history on the Team, founded by his Father, and their time spent with original 1981 Group 44 V12 Trans Am car.

He says, his father has been into Jags since his university days and now owns 6 of them.

They started out racing together in 1985 with an XK120 and then moved on into a 62 XKE the following year. We raced the XKE from 1986 to 2000, where she was retired. Then in 2005 we purchased the Group 44 1981 XJS T/A car. We race her 2-3 times per year, she is currently for sale as we are looking to go a different direction in our racing program.
Steve also advised they clocked the car at 194 MPH on the bank at Daytona.
